Proem’s mission has been to support a larger audience, beyond academia, gain insights from scientific literature. We stand by the importance of research as a foundational, trustworthy, and essential source of knowledge. Especially amid an era of rapid misinformation and disinformation leading to intense distrust.
There is an overwhelming amount of deep complex knowledge needed to make insightful decisions, especially for companies building technical innovations with the potential to transform the world for the better. Knowledge found in scientific literature, continues to be inaccessible and inefficient, and the work needed bring those insights to life has numerous tedious steps that need to be kept in mind.
We started building proem a year ago to accelerate the rate of scientific progress in the world, and we see a path forward to make that possible.
What is trustworthy?
When we listen to our users and partners, it’s clear they all share a need to base their decisions on sources they find trustworthy—a personalized and unique set of sources - including research papers, internal, and other external knowledge sources.
The next step is helping them find the gaps and connections between them, and leveraging our expertise in building AI agents to increase their productivity.
Our focus is to help individuals and teams truly leverage a personalized and unique tapestry of sources they trust, in their current infrastructure. This foundation of personalized insights can be used to help them produce high-quality work outputs, in order to streamline their tedious and repetitive knowledge work.
Our target audience - true scientific innovators
We are working with deeptech leaders and fast-growing companies in bio-tech, genetics, pharma, med-tech, sustainability, energy, space, and other fields of scientific innovation where Europe shines. We aim to support these teams become a catalyst bringing innovation from the lab into the world.
We are closing partnerships with select teams to help guide our product development. We will work closely with them to solve their most critical needs, and increase their overall productivity—scientific progress must accelerate!
